SHR Talent is partnering with a legal firm in its search for a Help Desk Analyst in Nashville. This is a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity working onsite in the Nashville office. The individual in this role is responsible for responding to all of the tech needs for the company. This includes but is not limited to hardware, software, meeting setups, audio and video setups, printers, network connectivity, mobile devices, and office phones.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred but not required
  • Experience working in a law firm is a plus but not required
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows 7
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Office 2010
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange Console
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory
  • Experience with network infrastructure devices such as hubs, switches, and servers
  • Experience conducting remote assistance
  • Experience with remote network access programs such as Citrix and Cisco AnyConnect VPN
  • Experience with imaging software such as SCCM
  • Work with vendors as needed
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Professional attitude required
  • Able to work well with others
  • Strong customer service skills are a must

 

Responsibilities

  • Answer IT Help Desk phone calls
  • Track all requests in the firms ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Install hardware and software as needed
  • Equipment set up for internal and external meetings
  • Set up audio and video conferencing sessions
  • Image and profile computers
  • Provide after-hours support
  • Routinely travel to remote firm locations to provide on-site support
  • Configure mobile devices to receive firm email, contacts, and calendar events
  • Replace toner in all printers and copiers
  • Track loaner equipment (laptops, wireless cards, projectors/screens, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot as well as, configure office phones
