SHR Talent is seeking a Full-Time Application Administrator for a client in Nashville, TN.

 

Description:

The application administrator has the responsibility for initiating and coordinating activities and functions required to effectively support the ERP application. This included coordinating requests from other departments for support, training, and other project-based efforts needed to maintain the application. Also ensure that the office is functioning in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring work is performed in a timely manner, and exercising good judgment and discretion on a regular basis.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This individual will be responsible for configuring and supporting the Student Information System (SIS-Unit 4 CAMS).

Integrate SIS system with the web-based application (EAB, Ad Astra) within the organization.

This individual will be the primary support for the ERP application (Great Plains)

Will be responsible for creating reports for various departments.

Plan, test, and implement various Web-based applications.

Support all user applications for entire organization.

Create new users through Microsoft Active Directory and integrate with SIS.

Create, modify and run scripts, reports, Stored-Procedures, and triggers within SQL to maintain all applications running on various Microsoft Windows Servers.

Schedule backup and maintenance of SIS Servers.

Create, Modify, Enhance application reports to clean up the backlog of reporting requests utilizing SQL.

Maintain a calendar of deadlines and ensure that all requests for information and repairs are submitted in a timely manner.

Organizes and maintains departmental information such as policies, procedures, and forms submitted by external customers as it pertains to the ERP application.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

In addition to the performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by staff based upon the particular requirements of the organization.

Assist the Director of IT Services in delivering a quality service to the organization.

Support operations required by the Technology and Infrastructure Manager to ensure delivery of both our ERP and SIS over the network.

Performing Campus and off-site errands, (purchasing supplies and hand deliveries).

Developing and implementing permanent computerized grids for reports and programs.

Other duties as assigned.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 

Working experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services and Integration Services.

Be willing to be trained on all application management as needed.

Ability to effectively and efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous tasks and projects.

Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic aspects of technology, networking, telecommunications, Internet, etc.).

Ability to research technical topics using the Internet.

Good communication skills.

Possess a strong commitment to customer service excellence.

Maintain confidential and sensitive information.

Qualifications / Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field is highly desirable. A minimum of three or more years of experience in computing and information systems is required.
