HR Generalist

SHR Talent is currently seeking a full-time HR Generalist for a music industry client in Nashville. The individual in this role is responsible for performing broad professional human resources tasks to support policies, procedures and programs including benefits, payroll, recruiting, onboarding and employee relations.

Essential Job Functions

• Facilitate and engage in the recruiting process
• Organize New Hire Onboarding
• Support hiring managers with roles and responsibilities and Job Descriptions
• Maintain employee data changes in HRIS and benefit systems
• Maintain compliance to all state and federal regulations
• Ensure accurate record keeping and reporting
• Creating a positive work environment through relationship building
• Create reports, manage projects and/or other duties as requested
• Provide leadership and strengthen internal communications with staff at all levels
• Lead Change Management and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources a plus
• SHRM designation a plus
• Minimum 4 years of HR experience (manufacturing environment a plus) with experience in payroll processing in multi-states and benefit administration
• HRIS (Kronos, ADP, etc) experience
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization
• Strong teamwork and project management skills
