Director of Consulting

SHR Talent is partnering with a healthcare client in Franklin, TN in its search for a Director of Consulting.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for client delivery and engagement for the company
• Advise the Director of Operations and CEO on the strategic growth of consulting offerings and team composition including new hires
• Collaborate with Innovation and Analytics team leads on thought partnership, new product development, and client deliverables
• Determine, develop, and deliver innovative strategies and tools to target new and current clients
• Initiate and center team efforts to gather, analyze and interpret data, and formulate recommendations and conclusions
• Develop solutions for complex client situations to ensure meeting of goals and objectives and deliver results on time
• Lead executive level presentations of complex consulting projects building consensus around recommendations
• Render quality control for team’s work
• Support contract management-related sales pursuits and contract management business development, including RFP responses and solution demos
• Meet sales targets through thought leadership and relationship-based sales and networking
• Stay abreast of changing regulations that impact healthcare and anticipate changes in our offerings
• As with any fast-growing company, this role will need to be flexible and happy taking on other responsibilities as needed as part of our collaborative team with a shared mission

Qualifications

• BS / BA in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of management experience in a consulting or relevant healthcare leadership role
• Must have experience interpreting financial statements and claims data
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to synthesize and present complex information
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients and individuals within the organization
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Desire to achieve and maintain high levels of both internal and external customer satisfaction
• Expert user in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint; Tableau experience is preferred
• Ability to work in and maintain a “startup mentality” to accelerate the introduction of new capabilities and improve existing processes
