Digital Merchandising Manager


SHR Talent is partnering with a manufacturing client in Nashville, TN in its search for a Digital Merchandising Manager. The Digital Merchandising Manager will be responsible for supporting digital transformation through the successful implementation of a modern sales portal and establishing an industry leading Digital Showroom and Dealer Order Management platform that provides dealers with an exceptional service experience. As the Digital Merchandising Manager, you will become the Subject Matter Expert for developing and operating a seamless purchase order experience from storytelling through order acquisition. The Digital Merchandising Manager will define requirements for the business and end users and will partner with IT resources and vendors for the platform to facilitate execution.

To be successful in this role as the Digital Merchandising Manager, you should demonstrate an understanding of different organizational departments and functions, possess the ability to lead business discussions and scoping decisions based on best practices for implementing a B2B Sales Portal, be skilled in articulating high-level business requirements and creating detailed business specs, have excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal, team building, organizational, and motivational skills.

Essential Job Functions

  • Project Management for the Sales Portal implementation project in collaboration with internal IT and 3rdparty systems experts.
  • Define business requirements, business process flow maps, and RACIs
  • Liaise with and other 3rdparty vendors to continually update and improve the various applications of the platform
  • Work with internal stakeholders and associated vendors to drive the enhancement of future portal capabilities
  • Lead prioritization phasing and maintenance by Geography Brand Product Segmentation
  • Provide operational guidance and develop a Playbook Process Maps and RACIs
  • Lead all business-related items tied to the B2B Sales Portal
  • Develop onboarding and training program and tools
  • Drive internal  and external training sessions
  • Act as a consultant for DSR and BDM, training and retaining dealers and distributors
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing Product and Finance to facilitate and lead setup of the Digital Showroom
  • Connect with the Digital Asset Management system and Product Information Management system, consulting with the DTC Ecom Operations team on PDP support
  • Ensure timely and complete set-up to meet key GTM calendar milestones
  • Set annual, quarterly, and monthly targets, tracking  and reporting progress
  • Establish KPIs and tracking mechanisms to manage KSD metrics
  • Enable platform for seamless DTX Order Management
  • Ensure Sales Portal connection to DTC Ecom and readiness for order flow
  • Prepare, participate in, and lead projects as required


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years’ relevant work experience in implementing and managing B2B Sales Portals or Salesforce experience, preferred
  • Expertise with trade marketing and digital commerce expertise
  • Experience working in a dynamic global premium branded consumer goods company, preferred
  • Experience working in an international matrix organization
  • Trade Marketing Sell in Tool and GTM process skills
  • Proven project management leadership skills
  • Onboarding and training expertise of internal and external stakeholders
